Hometown Tote Rental started with a simple idea: moving shouldn't mean fighting with tape guns and collapsing cardboard boxes at 9pm. We bring sturdy, reusable totes straight to your door and pick them back up when you're done, so packing feels less like a chore and more like checking a box.

Packages start at $99 for a two-week rental and scale up by home size, from 20 totes for a studio or one-bedroom up to 60 totes for a larger home. Every package includes free delivery, pickup, and a tote dolly.
We deliver and pick up free within a 25-mile radius which includes Duplin, Lenoir, Wayne, and Pender County, NC. We are able to serve parts of New Hanover County as well. Some fees may apply. Outside that area? Message us, we may still be able to help.
Every rental includes a standard two-week period. Need more time? Just give us a call and we'll work out an extension.
As a rough guide: about 20 totes for a studio or one-bedroom, 40 for a two-to-three-bedroom home, and 60+ for a larger household. Not sure? Call us and we'll help you pick the right size.
Each tote is 27 gallons. The dimensions are 14.7 in. H × 20.4 in. W × 30.4 in. D, and they are stackable.
Yes, every tote is inspected and sanitized between rentals, and they're far stronger than cardboard. Lids snap shut without tape and stack neatly on the included dolly.
